Grounded in specialist artisan processes applied to a coarse heavyweight cotton-linen blend natural fabric: Mud-Dyeing is A traditional, eco-friendly textile dyeing technique practiced by the Yao ethnic group in China. 

The fabric is immersed in botanicals, then coated in mineral-rich mud, where the elements interact to develop natural varied tones. Lastly, the fabric is laid out to dry beneath the light of our nearest star - the Sun - resulting in the deep earthy colours unique to this craft.
